This site first peaked my interest in defunct independent
leagues. It led to the creation of my first site, Big South-
Heartland Leagues.com, which evolved into Indy Leagues
Graveyard.

| Tim Perry has put together a great site about the teams of
the Frontier League. It also has lots of information about the
defunct ones too. He's put a lot of work into the site and
it's well worth a visit or two.

| Brent Horton has done an great job on the history of pro
baseball in Tyler, Texas, home to two defunct independent
teams (the WildCatters and the Roughnecks).
